ABOUT

Shawn Pelofsky is an accomplished stand-up comedian, producer, actress, writer, and owner of Divorce Parade (NBC, E!, ABC, TBS, LOGO, Amazon, Showtime, SIRIUS). In addition to performing comedy internationally, Shawn is a paid regular in Los Angeles at The World Famous Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and the Improv. She has opened for such legends as Bill Mahr, Richard Lewis, Robert Klien, AGT's Vicki Barbolak, and Hewy Lewis and the News. Her writing accolades include creating material for Joan Rivers on Fashion Police, the syndicated comedy game show Funny You Should Ask, and Feeding America Comedy Festival. Some of her T.V. appearances include the cult hit Community, Chelsea Lately, The Dark Side of Comedy, Comics Unleashed and her one-hour comedy special Stretch it Out! on Amazon.

From an early age, Shawn discovered her ability to bring laughter to people to which she's brought to a wide range of audiences from our deployed U.S troops in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Bahrain to her beloved LGBTQ+ audiences on cruises, gay prides and stages around the world. Her commitment to healing people through her comedy has shown in her writing, acting and business adventures. With Divorce Parade, she turned her own unexpected divorce into a joyful rebirth that she wants to make available and share with others who are searching for that light at the end of the tunnel.

Currently, Shawn continues to perform regularly around the world and appear with her co-host, Vicki Barbolak on their podcast Trailer Park Diaries. You can also catch her monthly hit show “Social Media Meltdowns” at The Hollywood Improv.
